How to select clips in background?

Hi I'm overlapping some videos and I need to change position/size of the video behind. How do I do it? If I double click it select the video on foreground. Usually what I do is move the foreground track away so only the background video is visible. Then I double click on it and press ctrl+z. Isn't there a better way to do it?

Select clip in timeline, highlight Motion in the Effect Controls.

Now you can move the clip in the Program Monitor.

Click the eyeball in the timeline for the video track you don't want to adjust to make it not show.  Make your adjustments and then click the eyeball again to make it visible again.
