Hello there.
I've just successfully finished a multicam edit project. But now I need to fix some noise due to the high ISOs used on some of the footage. The best tool I have for that is Neat Video, but I only have this plugin in Final Cut Pro X. So my goal is to export each cam footage (not the 'original' ones, but the ones that are already set/synced in the Nest clip on Premiere).
After I tweak each of them (I have 3 cameras on this project) in FCPX, what is the best way to switch these tweaked footage in the Nest clip that is already set/synced in Premiere?
I assume I have to import each cam footage into the Nest clip at the exact same location (i.e., video track).
Not sure if I made myself totally clear here, but anyway, looking forward to any hints that might help me with this.
Thanks in advance!
After importing your denoised footage into Premiere, drag the new clip from the Project panel onto the old clip in the Timeline while holding Alt/Opt to replace your media. This will keep everything in sync while swapping one asset for another. You can also replace the file entirely by right-clicking your footage in the Project panel and choosing "Replace Footage," but I would probably keep both in the project for reference.
