how to zoom in on beat in a music video?

Hi creators,

I am producing a rap video for a client, i am now doing the last touch ups to the video. The client wants the video to zoom slighly on the beat to create a more energetic video. I have no idea how to go about this practically i have short clips on different layers so doing it for every clip once at a time would take a very long.

Is there a tool or something like an adustment layer so i can just put it over all clips at once? I am working in premiere but i could also switch over to after effects if necessary.

this is the effect i hope to achieve: Pietju Bell - Als Je Wist Dan Je Weet (prod. Teemong) - YouTube

I realy hope you guys can help me out.

sincerely,

In Pr you have to do this one by one, no automation possible.

Just an idea here, but this is what I would try. First duplicate your sequence so you don't screw up your original edit.

Go though and add markers to your timeline where you want the video to zoom in and out at the beats. Then Nest your sequence. Now you have one video track to work with instead of a bunch of clips. Next I would add the Transform Effect to the video track. In Transform effect in your effects panel go to your scale and add a Key Frame at the very beginning of your sequence. Keep it at 100% and Control+Click to change the keyframe to "Hold". Now move forward to each of your time line markers and add a new keyframe to your video track making sure it's a "Hold" keyframe and change the scale to either zoom in our out by a percent or two.

You might try looking at third-party tools.
