Hello, I can't put videos - mp4, on the timeline. It works if I select at least two and drag them. I work with Premier Pro 2025, but it has happened to me on other versions as well.

If you can't drag MP4 files to the timeline, check your Source Patching settings. Make sure the source patch buttons (e.g., V1 for video, A1 for audio) in the timeline are active (blue). If they're off, the clip won't appear when dragged.

Have you set your Source targets in the Timeline? If bringing from the Source monitor you need Source targets set on the tracks you want to use.
