I cant set effects to change over time

when i set an effect to increase or decrease over time it will stay the same as the first value i put in

Legend

When you go to the end of the clip, hit the left arrow to go back one frame so you're still ON that clip ... now make your keyframe.

You're actually making a keyframe on the blank area, not that clip. Remember, the playhead is at the beginning of the next frame, always.

am i able to use effcts that would change over time on clips that i have time remapped?

Either apply the effect then nest the clip and time-remap, or rime-remap, nest, apply effect.
