Question

I'm still using CS5.5 is there a keyboard shortcut to cut a clip?

I see a shortcut Ctrl+K in the current help system that seems to do that but I'm wondering if that's for newer versions? Is there a 'cut' keyboard command for CS5.5

It should work for CS5.5.

If not,  try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.

You're a genius. 🙂 But to be clear, I'm using Windows. The Alt key did not work when I clicked on the shortcut. However, when I opened the file folder containing the EXE and Alt clicked on -that-, it did the trick. It doesn't -say- it's clearing preferences, but apparently -something- happened.
