Images not showing up!

Hello! I'm a touch of an amateur with this software, only know the basics!! I am making a slideshow and having an issue with photos not showing up. I've read through a lot of these posts to try and find my issue, but it still just doesn't make sense to me!!

When I scroll through the project or play it within premiere the photo shows. However, if I leave the timeline paused on the photo or once the project is exported, it does not show up!

There are jpeg AND png not showing up so that advice I found did not help...

I do not understand any other technical issues I may be missing here-- help!
