Imported images pixilating in premiere pro

Hi Guys,

I'm creating a lyric video for some music and when I upload the images they are great but when I adjust the size using "set to frame size" the image pixilates/goes blurry.  Am I uploading them wrong perhaps? I haven't put them in a sequence because the images need to be different lengths to fit the lyrics. Attached is the image and then again when it has been uploaded to premiere pro.

Thanks for the help,

The reason it looks bad is that your sequence resolution is very small. 640x360. You'll want to increase the resolution, which you can do manually there from the Sequence Settings panel that you've opened. I would pick a resolution and aspect ratio that's going to work for the majority of your media. Ideally, if it's all the same size, then you'd want your sequence to be the same resolution as your media. In your case that's: 1024x768.

If you do have clips of varying sizes, then you'll need to find a happy medium. Some clips may need to be scaled up, and others scaled down, (keeping in mind that the more you scale them up you'll be losing some quality.)

I moved your post from the Get Started forum to the Program Specific forum, Premiere Pro.

If this is in Error please state the exact Adobe program you are asking about.

Guessing the image is way smaller then the sequence settings. Set to framesize will enlarge the image: hence the blurryness.

Post screenshot sequence settings and properties image.

I'm pretty sure the image is much bigger than the sequence settings.

before I "Set to framesize" the image is too big, that is why I was trying to "Set to framesize".
