Question

Bonjour @Maria34716856leh3,

Thanks for all the info. Sounds like you are having some trouble with having multiple projects open. This problem could be multiple things, but we can try the obvious ones first. Have you deleted media cache and reset preferences? Press Shift at launch and you'll get the "Reset Options" dialog box where you can perform both of these functions. Please also make sure that your hard drives have plenty of space on them. If these steps do not help, let the community know and come back for more help. Sorry for the issue.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin, same problem here. 8 days ago starts apparently with no reasons and I'm still struggling. I found no valid answer here.
I tryied everything people wrote in the past to solve the same problem:

1) clean the cash

2) unistall and install again, previuos versions till 2022

3) change AVI to MPEG to QuickTime preview mode

4) creating a new project and import the previuos one

5) give Premiere 31gb of ram off 32 total of my PC

6) change rendering from GPU Mercury playback Engine (CUDA) to only Mercury playback Engine

7) updating my Nvidia and Intel
😎 Uncheck acceleration hardware for H265 and H264 files.
9) clean the hard drive (now I have 1,5Tb free on my SSD m2)

Nothing seems to work.

I really don't know what to do anymore. Probably go to da Vinci? Don't know. What I know is that I pay something and it didn't work.
Yesterday I download DaVinci Resolve 18. Probably is the only solution if I would give something to my clients.

And, worst, this Is the third year that in january i lost sono works cause of new versions bugs.

Please help

Hi @andreac3736159,

I read about  your case. It's an importer error. What kind of media are you using? Have you tried transcoding it? Have you tried creating proxies? Doing so can rule out source media issues. Is the media located on an internal SSD or an external drive? If the latter, tell us more about your media drive and how it is connected. Tell us more about your computer. I'm unclear about its components. Please also try and make sure all Adobe folders and hard drives have R/W permissions set. This is an unusual problem that can have many potential road blocks. Sorry about that. More info will hopefully unlock the solution to this problem. Hope to hear back from you.

Thanks,
Kevin
