IMPORTING A VIDEO .mkv THE AUDIO DOES NOT WORK.

They told me a video .mkv works by changing the name to .avi

  The video works but the goodbye is bad, like a bad radio signal. How can I solve that?

Welcome to the forum.

You can't do that.  You'll have to convert the .mkv it into a different format first.  If you search the forum you'll find several discussions about MKV files and Premiere Pro. Here is one: Importing MVK files into Premiere Pro (all versions)

That is an old thread that does not update to the limited, undocumented support for mkv added in PR 2018.1.1.

For me, audio format was one variable that would result in no import.
