The ProEXR plug-in for Premiere has shipped with the program since CC 2015. You can simply import/export EXR files like any other file sequence.

Sounds like your sequence might have some custom channels. You can access those in Premiere by going to the footage's Source Settings and picking the channels you want to use for RGBA.

Hi Kevin, I'm also looking for an OpenEXR plugin that will work with Premiere Pro, but unfortunately, the link you posted above (4 years ago) is broken. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Hi XilburQost,

Thanks for the note. Have you tried the fnord plug-in? https://www.fnordware.com/ProEXR/ Let us know if it works out for you.

    Thanks,
    Kevin
