Importing transition creates 4 windows with the same content in it.

Hello,


I am currently working on my first video with PP. Whenever I import a transition from Mixkit and try to fit it into my video the transition does not work like it's supposed to do. Instead it creates 4 windows where the effect applies on. I can't seem to find the problem, i have tried to scale it, change the position settings. My Videos are shot with an iPhone on 4K resolution.(See photo's for settings and the actual problem).

They are not transitions but a bunch of effects that act as a transition. Most likely set in a 1080p setting while your footage is 4K.

Both need to be the same in order to work properly. (hence the 4 x mirror in the preview)

 

On a side note: Your footage is variable framerate. Cconvert to constant framerate with Handbrake or Shutter Encoder before bringing into Premiere, and your audio is set to 41 kHz. 48kHz is a better option.

    So how do I convert the 'transition' to 4K so it fits my video resolution?

    I don't think you can convert, you will have to rebuild them.

    For most of these transition effects, there are YT tutorials.
