Importing videos from iPhone to desktop Premier Pro

Hi everyone,

 

Previosuly I have been able to upload video and photo content from my personal iPhone to my work Adobe Creative Cloud account, then download on a work desktop PC, but note that this feature is/has been discontinued?

 

I'm a scientist working in healthcare and filming instructional videos using my iPhone as part of my extra duties. We do not have a dedicated graphics/film crew. 

 

Videos taken on my iPhone have to be uploaded to a work desktop PC for editing with Premier Pro. I have Adobe Rush on my iPhone but would prefer Premier Pro as work-in-progress can be shared and the final versions will be saved on an intenal local sever and viewed on a work desktop PC by staff (so not exporting to social media or YouTube). What I am filming is often very detailed and close up so editing on a larger PC screen is visually preferable to a smaller iPhone screen.

 

Using the Apple iCloud link for sharing photos/videos does not work as gets blocked by our work fiewalls. We have very robust firewalls.

 

I've attempted googling for instructions but what I can locate is more for personal use/social media and doesn't factor in robust firewalls.

 

Any advice? Am I missing anything obvious?

    My workflow for taking videos off of my iPhone is to plug my phone into the computer with a lightning to us. Cable, locate the video on my phone and swipe up to get the file name. Then I have my computer search the phone for that file name. When found, drag the file to the pc.

      Thank you all for the reponses, a good insight into file transfer methods and very helpful around the cloud functions.

      My resolution involved a combo of the methods posted by all authors in this discussion:

      1. Syncronised my iPhone photos to my personal iCloud account

      2. Syncronised my personal iCloud account to download the photos onto my personal Windows OS laptop

      3. Used a work-approved secure USB to transfer files from my personal laptop onto work desktop PC

        I have a lightning to USB cable, also a USB-C to USB A/B, you could always grab one and transfer from phone to drive directly?

        We can't use their cloud for stuff like that. And I'm not sure of the process for iPhone file transfer. Do those have any data port at all? With my Samsung I can simply go USB3 into the computer.
