Incorrect/super long filepath in Reconnect window

Hi all,

Working on a project now that's passed back and forth between a few editors.  Our drives are more or less mirrored (though named "A1", "B1" etc).  Recently when trying to reconnect media, we've been seeing incredibly long, nonsensical filepaths:

The paths seem to nest the correct filepath within a number of other incorrect, similarly nested filepaths.  Though it does eventually find the file selected, it stalls out when attempting to autolink anything beyond that folder.  This is a huge timesuck - there anyway to force Premiere to maintain correct filepath info?
