installed transition not working when dragging to timeline

i installed transition pack and i imported it from FILE > OPEN PROJECT>SELECT

and now i can see them on my panel but when i drag a random transition to the timeline above my videos layer its just plays the transition clip and not aplying as effect transition, and yes i did turned off the overwright swquences button and turned off the V1 layer... desperate struggling to enderstand whats not working

    Make sure these so called transitions are of the same resolution as your sequence.

    Most of these effects are HD widescreen and your sequence is vertical.

      solved! i changed the sequence size of the transition and its working perfectly, Thanks!

        Hello @Harel Koka,

        I read your post, and I think I understand the issue, but we need more info.

         

        Which "transitions" are you talking about? Often, these third-party presets are sold as transitions, but are not really transitions per se. They are preset effects that act as transitional elements. Wish they wouldn't do that!

         

        You must follow the instructions that came with these effects presets in order to work with them. If you don't have the instructions, it is harder to help you, unfortunately.

         

        Perhaps a screen shot would assist the community in understand the issue. Can you make a screen shot or movie showing the anomaly? Sorry for the frustration.
