Question

iPhone videos get over saturated on export

Newer to Premiere Pro (mac), but super frustrated.  Video looks great in timeline, go to export it and it is super bright (unusable).  Played with the sequence setting and working color space and changed to all variations.   Looks too washed out on some settings, too yellow on other settings, etc.   I just want it to come out exactly like it looks on my timeline - this shouldn't be this hard on exporting a video.   Any help would be apprecaited - the more detailed the better, again I am new to Premiere Pro and have just spend hours trying ideas from Youtube.  Thank you!

It sounds HDR color-related, @KingDavid_HeyNow. Are you shooting HDR? Are your color management settings in line with the footage you shot? Perhaps @R Neil Haugen has some advice. We need a lot more info for the community to help.

Thanks,

Kevin

Kevin, thanks for the reply.   Yes, the phone is set to HDR.   Is that the issue?   When you say. you need alot more information for the community to help, I am unsure what that means.   I am happy to provide any information but for some reason I see this as rather straight forward.   I have a video (in fact, alot of them) show in HDR on iphone.   Everything looks perfect in the project file, when I go to export then I get way over saturated.   I just don't understand why Premiere Pro would do that regardless of how a video was shot.     For example, if the exposure was a scale of 1 to 10.   In the recording it is a 6, in the project window it is a 6, but on export it moves to a 9.5?   I have used many video editing platforms, but I know need to move to Premiere so a few of us can edit projects.   Just trying to figure out the adjustment here.    I did turn off HDR on our iphone for recording if that will help going forward.  Thank you - david
