Question

Is it possible to adjust position or framing in Warp Stabilize?

Hi,

I'm sure this must have been asked before, but can't find it in the forums.

I have a shaky shot with a full frame speaker talking and warp stabilize does a pretty good job keeping it steady. But I lose his head at the top of the frame for part of the time. Is there a way to adjust the framing during or after stabilization to keep the top of the frame roughly pinned to the top of the screen?

If not, I assume there's a way to do this AE. If so, any recommendations on general or specific workflow?

Thanks!

Try lowering the smoothness.

Thanks Ann. I already had it at 20%. Lowering it to 5% doesn't solve the problem. Of course, lowering it to 0 makes the shot shaky again.

Other ideas?

Some shots are too shaky to be stabilized.

Might try Ae with Stabilize Motion.
