I am planning to use a script to automatically delete the Cache Files folder periodically, and I want to delete the Cache Files folder, not the files inside it.

According to the community information, it is safe to delete the files in the Cache Files folder, but I did not know if it is safe to delete the Cache Files folder itself.
I understand that the Cache Files folder is for the cache function.

Therefore, even if I delete the Cache Files folder, if Adobe Premire can generate the Cache Files folder automatically when I use Adobe Premire, I can determine it is not a problem.

From the above, can you please answer the following questions?

Q. Does Adobe Premire automatically generate the Cache Files folder when I use Adobe Premire?
What operation will automatically generate the Cache Files folder?

Yes, on restart, it will automatically recreate the folder. Not sure what you're trying to do, but it won't hurt you.

I have the cache on a separate, cache-only drive. As the speed of access to the cache can make a big differnce in performance.
