Hello,
I like that in Premiere pro, you can simply select 2 or 10 or 100 items in the timeline then select a video effect and DRAG and DROP it on of them and it will apply to ALL OF THEM.
Except that "transition" effects, cannot!
People use transitions effects betweeen 2 videos, I prefer to use them one 1 video without the other, I like the effect it creates anyway. (Again, I would like to apply a transition effect ON ONE Independent video, without having the need to place the transition between2)
In this example:
I have selected 3 videos, but when I drag and drop an effect (transition effect) it only shows up on ONE single video, despite having selecting them.
Is there any way to make the drag and drop apply the transition effect (like the video effects) into all selected videos of timeline please?
Thanks
I am guessing you mean the standard Transition build into Premiere.
(Transition-effect are so-called transitions made out of several effects).
Drag and drop will only do one transition.
Select clips and go to Sequence > Apply default transition to selection.
In the effects panel, search for the transition that you want to apply to your clips > right-click > Set selected as default transition. If you want to adjust the duration of the default transition, go to Preferences > Timeline, and set the default transition duration.

Great, but it did not ask me what transition I wanted?

Well I was more interested in one of the dissolve transitions, these are the transitions I was talking about:
