Is there any way I can preview two video tracks at the same time (side by side)?

Hello everyone! So, I'm having some trouble here.

Me and a friend are recording a let's play series. He's recording his screen and I'm recording mine. The plan was to have both videos in Premiere and have the perspectives switch from time to time. But, the issue is, I'm wanting to view both our footage at the exact same time in the timeline so I can see who's perspective the video should switch to without altering the actual footage. I don't want to make a splitscreen effect in the actual video, I just want the software to display both video tracks side by side for editing purposes. I've attached a screenshot to show what exactly I mean. Any help would be very much appriciated! Thank you!!
