Is There NO POSSIBLE Way To Do This? - Professionals Needed!

Hi there,I use Premiere Pro CC 2018 and cannot seem to figure out what should in my opinion be a built in functionality.I need Premiere to automatically scale or intepret every image that is imported so that it fills out the entire screen. I have already enabled media scaling and tried to interpret the footage with different aspect ratios but it's not helping. My project resolution is 1920x1080 and I work with a lot of different images, which come in many different resolutions.On average, the 3 most prominent image resolutions that I encounter are 1280x720, 1080x1080 and 1800x1080 Even with media scaling enabled, there is always a small black area at the sides, which I have to scale until it fills the screen. How can I accomplish this?

As Ann said, and as far as I know, there is no function like this. Maybe we should talk to the InDesign engineers because they have a great feature called FILL FRAME PORTIONALLY that does exactly this. Beyond the absence of this feature in Premiere, you can go to PREFERENCES > MEDIA and choose one of the DEFAULT SCALING OPTIONS. This would be the closest thing. Unfortunately, if your footage is a different Aspect Ratio than the sequence, it will FIT but not FILL. Setting this feature will allow any file imported into your timeline to be SCALED TO FRAME SIZE or SET TO FRAME SIZE. As a side note to this, any media already in your timeline can be SET or SCALED to FRAME SIZE by RIGHT-CLICKING your mouse and choosing either function. This can be performed on one or an unlimited number of clips.
