Issue with PP 14 CC2020 UI Size - Too Big to Work on W10 Pro

For now it is still guessing as we dont know the resolution. But assuming it does not comply with the min. display requirements.

I can run at 200% on my UHD screen, and the dialogs and everything "stay" on screen without troubles. So it puzzles me they run off the screen on yours.

Like so many others, your monitor is too small for the pixel size. IE: It has too high a resolution. This causes the physical pixels to be to small, so you need to resort to scaling.

Scale at 100%, that's only real way to use an LCD/LED screen. If 150% is really 'recommended' then that is Microsoft doing the math for you - and determining your monitor is too small for the resolution and you're going to need scaling to see Windows reasonably.

Again, scale at 100% and leave it there. Then you will complain about everything being too small. But you'll get back the screen real estate you purchased. Otherwise as you scale, you essentially create a smaller resolution monitor. 

I've never had an issue with dialog boxes not showing fully on-screen. I've got three monitors on my desktop, and of course also my laptop that I'm sitting at right now. All screens are at or above 1080 vertically in 'native' pixel dimensions, so all dialogs show easily. And that includes my UHD screen which is set to 150%.

Track height is something you set manually in Premiere ... and of course, you can create track presets also, which would probably be very helpful for you. Set it as you wish, then click the wrench menu icon in the Track Header area of the timeline, and ... Save Preset.

I've not noted my track heights changing size ... if I've got them set to one height, they stay there in that workspace. So ... not sure how to respond to some of your post. Now ... Premiere will 'remember' how things were in a Worskpace the last time it was there ... so if you're changing workspaces, they would change.

I've no clue what you're talking about. So adding a screen-grab could be very useful. Use the picture icon at the top of the reply box to upload the image directly into your reply please. And I'm quite serious ... I have no clue what you mean.

The Premiere UI is so malleable ... you can resize any panel, create panel groups, move panels from one panel group to another, eliminate or add panels, even "float" panels. It is SO much more flexible than Resolve. Which I also use.

If you don't like part of a Premiere workspace, resize it, move it, or just delete it. Then save your changes as a new workspace so you can quickly get to the worskpace layout you want for specific tasks.

Resolve allows for a small amount of resizing of certain areas. But you can't eliminate areas (panels in Premiere) nor change the layout in any significant way.
