Justify Text in Premier Pro

I'm working on an intro for a video series that has a text crawl. I'm having trouble finding how to actually justify the text though.

I found a post mentioning that the text had to be in a defined box but I can't seem to get it to work, even in a small text box.

How can I justify the text/make text in the right kind of box so that I can justify it?

At this point I would suggest going to the Help menu, online help, and watch a couple videos on creating text in the Essential Graphics panel.

There are the typical control icons for say left, center, or right justification in the EGP.

In the EGP, when you click/drag in the program monitor you create a specific size text box. If you just click then begin typing, there's no set "box", the text simply flows as you type. Hit enter, it breaks to a new line.

The box type text entry is what you would want.

This is not a helpful answer.

Not left, right, or center ALIGNMENT, but justify, which means make all the lines the same width.

I can't figure it out either. Justify is greyed out. What gives?
