Keyboard shortcut preset disappeared after update to Premiere Pro 24.5

My keyboard preset no longer appears in pull-down menu in the PPro app after update to 14.5. (build 57).  I have my copy of the working .kys file but can’t even locate the folder on the HD where it's supposed to go into. This is the first time an upgrade has done this. I’m on a 2017 iMac with Sonoma OS 14.5, 64 GB RAM. Tried several Mac restarts and resetting prefs. Solutions? Thanks!

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

If your keyboard shortcut presets have disappeared after updating Premiere, you can move your old .kys files to the following locations:

Mac: /Users/[YourUsername]/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/[Version]/Profile-[YourProfileName]/Mac
PC: C:\Users\[YourUsername]\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\[Version]\Profile-[YourProfileName]\Win

Cheers,
Paul
