Hi guys... so I have no idea what to do here but I need to figure out a way to get a video to work for a client that is using an ancient version of windows... I am confident there is nothing I can do in the export for this? but is there anything I can do to the video post export to make it work for them and run in their version of Windows Media Player? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Alternatively is there any recommendation I can give to my client on a player they could download? Although this would be avoided preferably as I would like to solve the problem for them myself

You don´t give any details about what you export from Premiere Pro, so its hard to guess. Please post a screen dump of your export settings.

The ancient player might not be compatible with UDH footage or the computer cannot handle the high bitrate.

Thanks!
I see two things that can be an issue. The first one is 50 fps and the second is the bitrate at 126.6, that combined with an average office computer from 2015/2016 they use is probably the cause.
I am guessing about the computer they use here, but no computer from 2023/2024 uses WMP from 2016. That indicates that the computer itself cannot playback the files because it´s old and by todays standards lacks power to playback 4K video @ 50 fps.
But, you can try to get them to install a better media player to rule out the computer, such as Global Potplayer (daum.net) or VLC media player, the best Open Source player - VideoLAN. But if it is a computer with a standard disk drive, iow no SSD, it will still struggle with that bitrate.
