I just changed my Macbook pro laptop to a newer macbook pro laptop, installed the latest premiere pro, and I can't even start with the amount of problems. I can't work on the same files because it just seems to have ruined all of them by somehow looping the same clip on the timeline on the entire timeline, went back to the old laptop, everything is cut and running properly.
then I import my mp4 files into the latest PP, and it's mp4 H.264, it was working PERFECTLY on the older laptop with the previous PP version, this one, no. No audio, only video no matter how I import (drag and drop, file>import), after clearing the cache in settings, clearing the cache by deleting the files in common folder, rebooting multiple times. No idea WHAT in the world is happening if it's the new PP or it's the new macbook pro which is running Ventura 13.0

so after 2 hours of investigation... it's actually because of the M2 Macbook pro. Why hasn't ADOBE who charges an arm and a leg and has thousands of developers still not fixed this? I copied over my pp file into my older Intel macbook pro laptop, boom. Works like a charm. All the mp4 files have audio and this is the same sequence and pp file and the same mp4 file, just from one Mac to the other. One with Intel, one with M2.
