Is it possible to install Premiere Pro CC plugins to a specific user on Windows (10) where the other users will not be able to use them?

Thanks so much for your support.

Actually I found a solution and it was simple enough. At installation we can choose if we want it to be installed only for "me" or "all users."

Thanks everyone for your support.

Adobe software is accessible to all Admin level users on the machine.

are you using windows ? Is it IIS for the server ?  what are you using ?

I don't think there's a way to limit file availability ( plug in ) the way you want cause everyone needs access to that common folder for plug in stuff. It would be cumbersome to install and uninstall that particular plug in every time that particular 'user' came to use the work station.

Can a 'note' be put near work station just politely 'asking' users not to use particular plug ins ? Those who 'own' it could just ignore the note.  That would be the easiest … or else tell people if they install a plug in there's no way you can exempt others from using it  ??

you might want to look into windows operating system 'user accounts' where people log in to use the computer, and have certain 'rights' to use programs in their category of 'user'.

A person using PPro and plugins would probably need 'administrator rights' to use all the features ( like make new folders, rename things, install plugins, and so on....)

So, basically what you want to do would probably severely limit the other users as you would have to be the only one with administrator rights I think...

Thanks for your reply, Rodney.

We have a workstation setup for freelance video editors to use. Sometimes they prefer to use their own plugins but prefer not to share them with others. This is the main reason why we wanna limit plugin per user account.
