Looping in timeline

Hi,

I like to loop individual clips while doing live lumetri correction on the clip. My workflow at the moment is to select in and out points in the timeline, and click the "loop button". This is fine, but it is a bit to slow for me.

Is there a way/function to automatically make a clip loop? (without selecting in and out points and click the loop button).

If not, is there a way to make a keyboard shortcut for the "loop button"?

If there is no way to make a shortcut button, does anyone have tips/ideas for a macro button?

I have tried using SHIFT+K but that is not ideal for me either.

Thanks!

I select clip (or clips), hit / (mark selection)

Then hit my shortcut for Play video in to out.

Hey there, yeah you should be able to do it pretty easily. First off, one key board shortcut you want to know is ‘x’ which will set in and out points around the clip your play head is currently sitting over. Then you can turn on Loop with Command+L (Mac), I’m guessing Control+L on Windows (but feel free to double check this under Keyboard Shortcuts under the Premiere Pro menu on the Mac or Edit menu on Windows). Finally, hit the keyboard shortcut for Play In To Out (MAC: Ctrl+K, Windows: Ctrl + Shift + Spacebar. Voila!

So basically:

Mac: x, Command+L (if you need to turn Loop on), then Ctrl+K

Windows: x, Ctrl+L (I think), then Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar

Thank you guys.

With your input I was able to make a nice macro out of it :-)

Marco one:

1 -  Mark Selection

2 - Go to program monitor

3 - Enable Loop

4 - Play video in to out

Macro two:

1 - Go to program monitor

2 - disable loop
