Lumetri Color Enhancements Makes Video Choppy

I have a video clip that is very smooth but when I add it to my project and make any color enhancements it becomes very choppy and laggy.  To the point where it is almost unusable.  If I remove the lumetri effect from the clip it is smooth again.  This is on both the previews and the final rendered product.  I have noticed this on several projects I have worked on recently but this particular project is strange.  I used this clip twice in the project and the second use of the clip (even with the color enhancements) was smooth as butter.  It is the exact same clip with the exact same lumetri effect (I copied/pasted it).  The only difference is that I am including a long bit of the clip on the second use of it.  Has anyone else experienced this behavior or have any suggestions on how to remedy it?  I have tried using the Warp Stabilizer to smooth the clip some and it helps but it doesn't entirely fix the issue.

I am using a Windows 10 machine and the latest version of Premiere Pro CC.  The color enhancements that I am making are very simple adjustments to brightness levels and saturation.   Nothing past the "Basic Correction" section.

I have the same issue. When Lumetri Colour is applied the video begins to skip. I wouldn't mind if it was just the preview but it exports with the skips also.

What kind of media is this clip?  From what camera?

Lumetri is a heavy resource-hog effect. So ... what are your computer specs, and what is the media you're editing? Is it possible that your media is DSLR/drone/GoPro type long-GOP H.264 files?

OS/CPU/RAM/GPU/vRAM, the number/type of drives in use on the computer, and the origin and nature of your media would be of immense help.

It is a 4k H.264 MP4 video but the clip is also only about 20 seconds in length.  I also have Premiere Pro creating proxy files that are only 1280x720.  So for editing they are relatively manageable.  I could understand that it might be a problem during editing but when you go to export the final mix shouldn't it render it correctly?

It should export correctly, that shouldn't be an issue ... but there you are, right?

What are the export settings, I'm wondering ... not that there'll be any answer there but still, might be worth a  screen-grab of the Export dialog box.

And have you filed a bug on this? I've had something similar with one export from AfterEffects a few days back, but nothing like this from my PrPro exports.
