Lut not showing in timeline

I am trying to add a lut to a video clip but its not doing what I expect(I am still learning).

What I do is:

  1. Open project and double click video I want to edit
  2. Select in and out points and drag it to my timeline
  3. Select the video clip on the timeline and use the panel "lumetri color" on the right side, I select my LUT.

But when I do that the video on the timeline is not affected.  IF however I go back to the original video and apply a LUT, it will show in that section ONLY and not on the timeline.

What am I missing?

If that's a log clip to begin with, the Program monitor looks as I would expect it to appear after a basic "normalization" to Rec.709/linear space.

What are you expecting different?

The screen on the right side that plays when you start the timeline doesnt show the applied LUT.  How do I get it to show the LUT that is applied?

The LUT listed isn't the "correct" one?

Have you added LUTs into the Premiere program/package file folders?

As that is always WRONG, and screws things up big-time.

Perhaps the Program monitor option to bypass all effects is toggled "on"?

A screen grab of your program monitor, drag/dropped onto the text reply area, would help us see this.
