M2 Max 64gb -16 hour exports wtf

 It's a 4k export ,2.5 hours of footage (red helium) to ProRes 4444xq , yeah it's a big file but this machine is a beast. 49gb of ram available.  16 hours ? Im Going to try a test on FCP to see if it's Premier.

 The laptop can run 8k files without proxies in Redicine-x.. all day. And redicine utilizes much more ram

Hey Jonathan,

I'm sorry to hear about this. You might be experiencing a long export time because Premiere Pro has to decode and re-encode the file in another codec. Could you share your export and sequence settings and let us know what effects you've used in your project? That can help us better understand what you're working with.
