Hallo,

since two days my macbook pro shuts down when i try to render a video (nothing speacial, just a two layer video). I got multiple different error messages.

My Macbook:

16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Radeon Pro 555 2 GB
2,8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

I tried:

  • Reinstall premiere pro
  • New projekt
  • New sequence
  • New video material
  • Different export location
  • Clearing the median cache
  • Chaning video-rendering to only software
  • Updating my Macbook

I need to fix this asap....

Has anyone an idea what I can do?

Thank you very much, I appreciate your help?

It sounds like the GPU is overheating or damaged.

Try exporting it a ProRes master file and then using a different app to create the MP4 from the ProRes like Adobe Media Encoder.

This is the best workaround (exporting it to ProRes and if that works transcoding it externally to H264)

Thank you!

How can I export a ProRes master file?

Is it overheating by any chance? Is it properly ventilated?

Could be, it gets louder as son as I start rendering.

Closing all programms but premiere pro did not work.

Just the normal ventilator...

A few days back I never had such problem.

I'm a PC user, but is there a way to monitor your Mac? Keep an eye on your temperatures while it's rendering?
