Is there an easy way of making an arrow besides using the pen tool?

Correct answer Peru Bob

I managed to get a font arrow in but I was not able to elongate the tail of the arrow. The arrow scales proportionally.

Is there a way to do this?

It's best done in Photoshop, but if you really want to do it in Premiere Pro:

Uncheck "constrain proportions" in the motion property of the effects panel.

I downloaded one I liked from the Internet.  Saves time over trying to make one.

nikhila,

Copy/Paste from a Word Processor works: Re: How to add arrows in Premiere PRO CC

Thanks,

When I copy the text from a word processor it appear as an empty rectangle or a rectangle with a question mark inside (when the font is same).

I could not type the unicode characters directly into an Adobe Premier Pro Text box.

However, I managed to get a generic arrow from Webdings Text Font as this is character based. I was not able to elongate the tail or the arrow without changing the arrow head's proportion.

On Mac, I'd find an arrow in Character Palette. Sorry that you can't find a font to use. Check out some fonts in Adobe Fonts perhaps?
