Mass trim multiple clips to the first X seconds

Question

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to trim all clips to the first X seconds? I have 100 clips that vary in length and I just want the first 5 seconds of each clip. Does anyone know of an easy/quick way to do this? Trying to avoid trimming each individual clip. I know you can use the ripple tool for something like this but I believe it would only work if all the clips were the exact same length.

Hi, you can do this in about a 1 minute, no metter number of clips, 5 or 5000.

Select all clips, create multicam with IN point sync and select option "moved source clips to Processed Clips bin". Open this multicam clip, select all layer and cut first X seconds. After this select all clips on multicam timeline and drag back to project bin and after this drag all of this " new created clips" to your desire timeline.
