Mercury Transmit Bug - Please Fix

I have a problem with fullscreen video preview in Premiere Pro and as I was searching for a fix I noticed that many people with multiple monitors have that same issue: Mercury Transmit is not working at all/ very limited.

I work with 4 Monitors (2x 1080, 1x 1440, 1x 4K) as I like to have a lot of space for all windows and of course a big video preview. Unfortunately I can not use the fullscreen preview via the Mercury Transmit because it always just displayed half of the frame but then across multiple monitors, which is why I worked around that by maximising the program monitor on one of my monitors. But now that I worked with another editing software where I had no such issues I noticed what a massive life improvement the fullscreen preview is and wanted to find a fix for the mercury transmit bug.

In conclusion I found some tips and and after following each one of them I got closer to solving the issue but never gotten to the point at which it is useable for me.

Now when I enable Mercury Transmit the preview is on the correct monitor at the correct scale but as soon as I trim a clip it scales down towards the top right corner of that screen. By opening the playback preferences, opening another application and tabbing back into Premiere I can scale it back to the full screen size but as this completely interrupts the workflow I have basically no access to the fullscreen preview.

However if I have every Premiere Pro window on my main screen and then enable Mercury Transmit for one of my other monitors everything works fine. This is really frustrating as I need all my monitors for all the windows inside Premiere but also like to have a fullscreen preview for the video I am working on.

Dear Adobe-Team, please fix this issue.

Just a question or two and a thing to try.

Which monitor is the main Premiere window on? The one with the menu system? If that is not on the monitor that is also your "home" OS monitor, there are issues at times.

Do any of your other panels of Premiere "touch" another monitor? As that is also problematic.

If one edge of a panel is actually one pixel over onto another monitor, which is very difficult to see, you can get this issue.

The main Premiere window is on my middle monitor. Windows recognizes this monitor as monitor number 1 and this is my "home" OS monitor.

I tried the pixel-edge-thing with all my windows, as soon as I trim a clip the preview moves as seen in the screenshot.

I dont know why, but it seems like the only way to use Mercury Transmit is by only using one Premiere window on my main monitor (middle monitor) which unfortunately isn´t an option for me.

Thanks for the advice though.

Mercury Transmit solved (for me)

manuelrouger_0-1737365597877.png

Hello, I managed to solve the problem of MercuryTransmit which is displayed only on a part of my screen, by realizing that the position of the program window impacted the display of mercuryTransmit. I selected the right screen, where the "program" window of premiere pro is displayed, so that it becomes my "main screen" under windows and MercuryTransmit is displayed perfectly.
