Hello,
I used the razor tool for split:
1. A photo to two photo.
2. An video and audio to two video and two audio.
How I merge the the two clips to a one clip? The merge option is grey in options of clip. Why?
Thanks,
Michael
If you simply did this by accident and want to "heal" the cut you made, right click on the edit point and select Join Through Edit! That'll take away the cut, assuming you haven't trimmed the clips in any way.

Just select all the clip and right click: Nest Sequence

Isn't there other way? So the razor tool is destructive.

That only seems to work on a clip if there were NO edits... I'd like to make a clean track (NOT a nest) of a single track -- like Render and Replace? would be SO COOL - so my timeline is cleaner and I can further edit/mix better.
Freak out on this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xa09gdycpcard2k/Screenshot%202020-06-09%2016.42.08.png?dl=0

The problem is that everyone wants to nest, group clips or make subclips. I don't want to do any of that. I literally want to push two clips together and remove the cut between them so they are now one single clip, ungrouped, unnested, not a sub clip. I'm never going to take these clips apart ever again. I want them to be one without all the complexity dealing with nests and multiple timelines etc. How can I do this?

Hi @michaelg90,
Thanks for the question. It sounds like you want to group a couple of clips as one unit. Have you considered nesting the two clips? That could work for your needs. Let me know if the advice helped. Sorry for the issue.
Thanks,
Kevin
