Question

merging two clips

Hi There,

I've got two video clips of the same scene, each clip shows a different event happening in this scene.

I'm trying to merge both clips so it looks like the event in video 2 happens immediately after video 1 and is seamless.

Now video (clip) 1 ends at roughly the same point I'd like video (clip) 2 to start, but the camera angle is slightly different in both clips.

How do I merge the 2 videos into one seamless video, do I need morph cut?

Additionally, is there any way I may be able to identify any potential matching frames at the end of clip 1 and start of clip 2 to perhaps identify a good point to merge both clips?

I'd REALLY APPRECIATE some help with this as I'm currently tearing my hair out, and I am very new to both premiere and video editing!

I mean this all depends on HOW MUCH of a jump there really is. If there is a TINY TINY TINY jump and there was almost NO camera movement, then the Morph Cut MAY work. Only way to find out is to try. But it’s really mwant for when there is NO camera move. But other than that, no, there really isn’t a way to magically merge two shots From different camera angles to make it blend into something that looks like a camera move.

    I'll be honest...I'm lost.

    Ok let me clarify.

im trying to join 2 video clips, the clips are a video walkthrough of a house, now I want a seamless join.

The point I'm trying to join the videos is the same scene but at slightly different camera angles, so when I join the jump between clips is very noticeable.

How do you make the transition seamless is there something I can do?

I don't know that you can make that seamless except with a single, uncut shot.  Any transition you try will likely be noticeable.
