Question

Missing attributes in Video Effects panel (CS6)

Hi! I am new to editing and I face this problem in my video:

When I apply an Effect to the video (i.e. Gaussian Blur), then in the Video Effects panel I cannot see all the attributes. For example I would like to be able to select only selected parts of my video (to blur some faces), and there is no such attribute in the panel to select. (I have seen in videos in youtube that there are more attributes available). Can anyone help? Thank you

If you don't have the option to upgrade Premiere to the latest version, your best option is to duplicate the video.

So now you have a copy on Video 1 and a copy on Video 2.

Apply the Blur on Video 2.

Add a crop effect on Video 2.

Adjust the crop until only the face is blurred.

You can add keyframes the crop effects if the face is moving a lot.

Masks were not yet added in CS6 which you using.

CS6 is old and no longer supported.
