Monitors Become Unresponsive

Participant ,

My source and program monitors keep becoming unresponsive. They'll be working fine, and then as I'm editing, all of a sudden they'll freeze. The rest of the program still works.

I'm editing a fairly basic project—4k footage in a 1080 sequence (on purpose so I can crop in). Basic color correction, simple text, basic transitions, 10 minutes long. Nothing about the project itself should inherently be causing a problem.

I have already tried deleting prefs, deleting cache, moving clips to a new project. No change.

This issue is not occurring in other projects.

Try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

This didn't work immediately but it did eventually clear up. Thank you.
