Question

Most of us here are pros

Most of us here are pros, we work against tight deadlines and chances are we won't be able to deliver on time and -most importantly won't be able to use the product we pay for-, only because we made the mistake to this update clueless of the fact that we would be missing our audio files. This is outrageous...

"Most of us here are pros, we work against tight deadlines". If you were and would, you would never update the software in this process, would you? So it's you to blame not preparing, reading the release notes, etc. Take responsibility for your actions and never blame others for your faults. If you do, don't come here crying.

I would be more direct, but it's not worth it. I've been in the video editing game for 25 years and have watched it go from 1" editing, to AVID, to Premiere Pro. I promise you I have been through it all and this isn't the first Adobe issue and I know it won't be the last. Premiere Pro was always my favorite and by today's standard, it holds up to all pro editing out there. So, I guess I just feel passionate about wanting to use it. If you see that as crying when those of us with passion share our disappointment (which is part of what this is all about so mistakes can be corrected), then that's OK too. Maybe you are right and I should just put my big boy pants on. But yet, I am passionate about wanting to help Adobe.

Same here .. am on a Windows 7 (LOVE windows 7, so stable don't want to upgrade to 10) and it doesn't work .. i have a job i need to finish this week, and i have no audio. WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK ADOBE this is disgraceful.

Someone earlier in this thread suggested it was 'your' fault for upgrading your 'production' machine.  I have news for you .. i am a freelance, that works at home with just ONE computer for editing, I am not a big company, with limited funds and this had really screwed me over. Suspect that many here are in the same position.

    Absolute shame on you Adobe.

Am desperately trying to roll back to previous versions.

also, to the person that rather patronisingly wrote "don't upgrade if you are in the middle of a big project" ... many of us are always in the middle of project.  my video jobs are continuous. they overlap each other. there is never a time when i think "great i've got a day off spare to upgrade and resolved any issues" because every day - EVERY DAY - i am always working.  not all of us have easy lives here to make ends meet.
