Motion graphics: Shield and other elements completely missing

Hi there,

I need some help.
I am currrently working in Premiere Pro 23, and I have utilised the 'essential graphics' sports shield and other animations.
When I saved my project yesterday, I had customised these, but when I opened it today a bunch of the elements have simply disappeared - I can still edit their parameters but they are not visible in anyway, either in preview or in export.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well as an older version of Premiere, none of which have worked.

Any ideas?

Hello @Alistair25762438z759 ,

Thanks for the message. It’s been a long time since you filed this bug. Are you still having this issue? If so, can you provide the screen recording requested by the product team member?

I'll move your post to the Discussions board while we await your files.

Thanks,

Kevin

This should not be a common thing.

If you could send me a Collected Project that would be awesome though.

Yep - it is a little weird.

It gets even weirder - if I edit the exact same project, even from the same OneDrive, all elements are present on the other machine. But still nothing on this machine.

Premiere Pro 23.6 (Build 65).

Windows 10 in both instances.

I am now almost certain it will be something to do with my cache or other setting on this local machine if it has worked on another - is this a common thing?

Yikes @Alistair25762438z759

What is going on?!?!

A few questions:

  • What exact version of Premiere Pro are you using? (You can click on "About Premiere" to get the version number
  • Are you on Mac or Windows?
  • Can you share the borked project with me? You can send it DMs and with WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Google Drive

If you could also send a screen recording of you opening the app that would be cool! There might be some clue there.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
