Moving several clips from timeline to bin with timeline order

I have already trimmed  & arranged some clips in the timeline.

And next, I want it to "automate to sequence".

But after I select & drag those clips from timeline to out in the new bin, its order get misplaced.

It does not match with the order from the timeline.

How to drag several clips from timeline to bin with timeline clip order?

So I can do "automate to sequnce" later.

OR

Is it possible to do "automate to sequence" directly on the timeline?

I notice no useful reply so far. Did you find a solution by the way? I am looking for same answer

Well just after asking back this question, i found "One Answer", may be there could be more methods.

    Answer is:

    1. in your bin first select icon view

    2. Now select and drag you clips from timeline to this bin

    3. Order will be same as in timeline

    But...they're already in the sequence.

Yes. But I don't want that bin order. I want it exactly same as the new order that I've arranged on the timeline.

    For instance, suppose

    Bin order is - 01, 02, 03, 04, 05

when we drag it to timeline we get an order like 01, 02, 03, 04, 05. I don't want like this.

    So I rearranged those clips in order 04, 05, 02, 03, 01.

Next, I want to arrange a new order on music's beat.

So I have to manually do it or I can use "automate to sequence".

But we can't do directly on the timeline.

But we can do this - create a new bin, add clips and then do automation.

But after dragging those clips in the new bin, its order get misplaced.

So this is my problem. I just want same order as on timeline. To do further work.

In these parts pilgrim, that's what we call editing...

So, you already have the timeline in the order you want, now wouldn't you just clean up the timing of those clips?

You seem to be going 'round 'n 'round.

What's wrong with the sequence you have, just adjust the clips now for the timing you need. Otherwise get a sorting software, rename the clips in the order you want them, then you can import and then Automate to Sequence.

    There is no such option.

You will have to order them manually.

When you have 1000+ videos, it's so difficult to order them manually in a bin. That's why I arranged in a timeline.

So I could drag those clips to new bin and use "automate to sequence" on unnumbered markers later.
