Latest premiere (25.3). Struggeling very hard with avchd files (*.MTS) . Can barely scrubb threw them. Previous premiere version (25.2) Works with them just fine. Tried to convert them to mp4 files, and still nothing. Tried clearing The cache.

Thanks

I face the same problem.

There was a version where MTS files had audio issues and all there was was just white noise. Now with the latest version this bug is fixed but the video doesnt use hardware accelleration anymore. Adobe Premiere is at the moment unusable. I hope they fix this bug as soon as possible!

This is actually happening with the latest version, also 25.4.1. When working with Canon camcorders that support AVCHD, I was forced to revert to 25.2, which works perfectly with AVCHD. Additionally, I was also getting these errors with Canon .MXF files. These new features in the latest update, which I don't even use, are rendered useless by these AVCHD operating system errors. I hope the next update fixes these errors, but for now, I'll stick with 25.2.

Roll back to Version 25.0.0. It's all working with that version!

Im really getting tired of those bugs. Every update i hope they'll fix those bugs and nothing.

Im gonna give it one more chance in the next update, and after that, it's straight up to davinchi resolve.

No. Just premiere struggling with MTS files. Can't work with them. Timeline freezes and getting laggy

Im having also a problem with linking those media , playback performance , and rendering also .

I have a workstation hp with intel xeon w 2245 , 128gb ram , rtx 3060 .

Last year with older pc i rendered them for 1 hour timeline took 8 minutes to render and used video encode and decode from gpu , now it is now using them and takes about 25 minutes to render those footages.

Sometimes also with mp4 files does not utilize hardware encoder .

I tried davinci it rendered with same settings within 6 minutes and faster playback .

Premiere pro 25.4 installed btw

You can see it is not utilizing the gpu video encode and decode as it should

I noticed audio noise and sometimes a delay with files from my Canon XA55 camera. The files are AVCHD .MTS. I was also forced to go back to version 25.2.3. I love Adobe Premiere, but each new update delays our work with problems and bugs. The program was once more stable. I am not an industrial company, but imagine a company that has huge workflows with these problems. Abobe, look more carefully at us, regardless of the brands of cameras and camcorders. The video format codec is the same, so the defect is not in the brand of the camcorder or camera, nor in the codec.

Hi rogey0101,

We're sorry to hear about this. We're currently investigating an issue with MTS media in the latest version. Could you please confirm if you are experiencing playback/performance issues or audio noise issues with MTS media?

Thanks,

Sumeet

Thank you for your replay.

I'm having trouble only with playback/performance issues. The audio is fine

Thanks for confirming that. On which camera were these files captured, & what is the frame rate & frame size? Please also let us know the system specs (OS, CPU, GPU & RAM) & if you have applied any effects to the clips in the timeline.
