multicam clip not inserting correct tracks from Source Monitor to Sequence

1. I have a multicam sequence from which I deleted and moved audio tracks. (see FIG 1: one MONO audio track.)

2. I opened that multicam in the Source Monitor. (see FIG 2)

3. When I do an INSERT from the Source Monitor to a new sequence, a) I get the original multiple audio tracks, with b) no audio wave forms (see FIG 3).

HOW do I get the updated multicam to insert?

(I'm sure this is operator error; none of the tips I've tried fixes it...)
