Question

Multicam, one camera is falling out of sync with audio track

I have three cameras and an audio recorder. I set everything up in multicam, and after changing the camera angles a few times, I am noticing that one camera (Sony) is falling out of sync with the rest of the footage and audio track. When I reset the multicam edits, and fast forward to the end (about 45 min video) the camera that was out of sync (Sony), is still in sync. So basically every time I change the camera angles throughout the editing process, it causes one of the cameras (Sony) to fall out on sync. I am completely at a loss. I am attaching a MediaInfo link here. Please advise.

Wild shot here. Your audio track from the Roland record is 44.1khz. Everything else is 48k audio.

I have seen weirdness in Premiere Pro when 44.1k audio is present (though back in 2015 version). Possibly try converting the 44.1k audio to 48k, replace it in your project and see if that has any affect.

After applying your suggestion to my project, I continued to have issues. Then I realized what was happening. During the middle of the clip from the Sony cam, I noticed it was perfectly synced right up to the point where the footage stuttered, and then all subsequent video footage was on a ~1 sec. delay. It's a nice enough photography camera, but I am discovering that it has problems with long video recordings. So, I cut the clip right at the stutter and shifted everything down about a sec and all is good. Chalk it up to camera malfunction.

    Thanks again for your time.
