Multichannel Audio 3 and 4 not working

Hello,

I'm having an issue with creating a 4 track multichannel sequence, where the audio on track 3 and 4 donsen't produce any sound from my speakers. The levels are animating, which implies that the sound is being registered, but I can't hear anything. Am I missing a simple setting somewhere? Or have I stumbled into a really complex issue?

I followed this guide to create my sequences, and I've followed it to the letter.

Everything appears to be working the way he descibed it in the video, I have 4 channels in the audio meters, and like I said, the bars on A3 and A4 are animating up and down as normal, impluying sound is there, but I can't hear anything.

What you need is a stereo sequence rather than the 4 channel multitrack you have now. Most of the sequence settings can be changed on existing sequences except the master audio format. You have a choice, either make a blank stereo sequence and copy and paste your material from your original timeline, or just use your existing sequence and route all your audio to outputs 1 and 2. Change the red circled to 1 and 2

I have two editing laptops, one on which I can hear all channels in a multitrack sequence (an Acer Aspire v17 nitro https://www.acer.com/ac/en/CA/content/series/aspirevnitro) and one that can't (a Dell XPS 15 9500 https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-laptops/xps-15-laptop/spd/xps-15-9500-laptop/xn9500ecxps). Can someone explain why? Is it some software built into the Acer? Dolby? Is there some software I can download to trick my computer into playing all the ouputs through my headphones?

You have a 4 channel multitrack sequence so you need 4 outputs from your computer and four speakers, how is your audio hardware set up?

Ah, ok. I just have a left and right speaker, and a sub, connected to the line out. Is there a way to map the output so that I can hear through the two I have?
