Click and hold the Ripple Edit Tool and it will fly out on the context menu.

You can access Remix in three different places.

 

First, the "Tool" box as shown ...

 

Second, the Clip menu in the Menu bar ...

 

Third ... you can create a keyboard shortcut for Remix!

 

That last one, if you use it much, is a big timesaver.

That "Tool" menu box is a bit different from the others. That one, and the audio meters box, are a bit of a challenge to figure out exactly where you do exactly what ... when ... to get them to do what you want.
