My videos are being slowed down on my iPhone, not settings have changed?

I have been using the same export settings for over a year now to create Reels on premiere which I export then airdrop to my iphone. In the last week, when I play back the videos on my phone they are slowed down (not glitching, just super slow mo) without me actually changing any settings in premeire. Can anyone give me any answers.

    GO TO THE TAB AT THE TOP 'SEQUENCE'

    ... SEQUENCE SETTINGS - GENERAL - TIMEBASE: (CHANGE THIS TO 23.976 FRAMES/SECOND)

      Yes! this is the solution, I had the same issue. I set my time base to 120fps because my footage was 120fps but it messed everything up when viewing the video on my Mac or iPhone. Thanks heaps!

      I assume H.264 and wonder if your source footage is either 50 or 60 fps and the exports have the same frame rate, iow 50 or 60 fps. Right or wrong? If wrong, give more details.

       

      And, how does the same export look at any other device such as your computer?

      My camera settings for clips is set to 1080p 120fps. I've been exporting in the settings on the screenshot attached. When viewing the exported video on my mac it shows just how I edited in Premiere. The exported video on my computer is 17 seconds long then when it gets to my phone it is 53 seconds long.

      I think the framerate is the main issue. 120 fps is normally only used in camera to being able to slow down the footage in the edit while the timeline and export is being done at lower framerates such as 60 or 30 fps. 120 fps footage is not even supported by YouTube.

       

      Since it has worked before it seems that either Premiere Pro lacks some meta data in the file or that the phone cannot interpret the metadata correctly, thus playback the file incorrectly. As a test, try to export as H.265 and see if that solves anything.

       

      Why do you edit in a 120 fps timeline and export as 120 fps in the first place? 🙂

      Hola, me paso algi similar cuando actualize IOS a una nueva version (12 o 13 creo) y despues de una actualizacion se ios se corrigio.
      espero sea el caso.

      My iphone is updated to IOS 15.3, but it's still slowing everything down.
