Nesting Sequences Only Partially Includes Audio

When I nest sequences in Premiere Pro, the video nests correctly, but the audio remains as individual clips. How can I ensure that both audio and video are fully nested as a single clip?

 

This has worked before on the project. I go and nest a new section of the chapters I make and it doesn't follow like the correct nests I have previously done, so it works but then doesn't?

 

Also, when I try and drag nested sequences onto the timeline, it doesn't copy the project over and only one cut had been copied despite creating in and out markers.

    If your sequence has more than one track of audio, it will only nest the video tracks.

    The way around this is to create a subsequence instead:

    1. Select all the clips you want to nest.
    2. Go to Sequence > Make Subsequence.


    After this, you will still need to delete the clips off your main timeline and drag the nested sequence in its place.

    If you want to add a sequence to another sequence as a nested sequence, enable the Nest button in the timeline (Insert or Overwrite Sequences As Nests - under the Timeline timecode).

    If you want to add a sequence to another sequence as clips, disable the Nest button.

      I have had the time to follow up on your instructions and I have an additional question on the steps after making the sub-sequence.  I have made the sub-sequence and then I have enabled the nest button which turns the sub-sequence into a clip. 

       

      Is this correct?

      This is correct if you want the sequence to behave as a nested sequence when you add it to a timeline.
