I updated Premier Pro and the new Selective color grading curves are still the same. I still have the  same rainbow color wheel.  Am I missing something??

    Hi tifanib25669355!

I'm not sure if you're on Windows 10, but I noticed on my computer that I couldn't find the selective grading curves although Premiere Pro was up to date. Luckily I found out that although I updated to Premiere Pro CC 2019, the Premiere Pro icon on my taskbar did not automatically switch over to CC 2019, and would open up CC 2018 when I'd click on it! When I opened up Premiere Pro from the Creative Cloud App, CC 2019 opened and I found the selective grading curves no problem! I then un-pinned CC 2018 from the taskbar and pinned CC 2019! I'm sure you're aware of all of this already, but I just thought I'd mention this little aspect of the taskbar icons!

A big thank-you to everyone on this thread for helping me find and solve this problem! I'm excited to try out the selective grading curves!

    Best wishes,

    Josh Anthony

If you hover over the icon it tells you which version.

    Hi tifanib25669355,

As R. Neil Haugen recommended, it seems like you are running an older version of Premiere Pro. The latest version of Premiere Pro is version 13.0. You can check your Premiere Pro version by clicking on Help menu in the menu bar and then clicking on About Adobe Premiere Pro (Windows OS) or Premiere Pro CC menu in the menu bar and then clicking on About Premiere Pro (macOS). If you see any version lower than 13.0, then please open the creative cloud desktop app and go to the apps tab and check for an update for Premiere Pro. Once you have Premiere Pro (version 13.0) installed you should be able to see the new selective color grading tools.

Hope it helps, let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Sumeet Kumar Choubey

In the Lumetri panel Curves tab, if you are still seeing only the round color wheel Hue vs. Sat tool, you aren't on the new 13.0 build of the CC 2019 release.

Your program window top edge should say CC 2019, and the Help/About dialog say 13.0.

If not, and your CC Desktop app doesn't show an upgrade to 2019, then sign out of the CC app and reboot. See if that causes the CC app to show the correct update.

In 2019, the Curves tab will show five different rectangular curves controls but no wheel.
